Your initial appointment at Worcester Endodontics consists of a consultation explaining your diagnosis and treatment options. Root canal treatment can often be done the same day as the consultation. On occasion, a complex medical history or treatment plan will require additional appointments.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:
- Your treatment referral slip and any X-rays, if applicable.
- A list of medications you are presently taking.
- If you have medical or dental insurance, bring the necessary information and forms. This will save you time and allow us to process your claims.
IMPORTANT: All patients under the age of 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation visit.
Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to treatment (i.e. diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, shingles, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are on any medication (i.e. heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, premedication, etc.)
If your dentist or physician has taken x-rays, you may request that they forward them to our Worcester, MA office. Alternatively, you may pick them up and bring them with you. If additional x-rays are needed, our state-of-the-art digital x-ray system, which uses 90% less radiation than conventional x-rays, will provide us with everything that we need.
