Meet Dr. Karyn Stern

Dr Stern received a Bachelor of Arts in biology and community health from Brown University. She began her dental education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, earning a D.M.D. degree. Dr. Stern was awarded the Merit Scholarship Award for Academics and was Dean's List for the National Boards. During her education at Tufts, she tutored anatomy, pre-clinical dentistry and prosthetics.

After completing a dental degree, Dr. Stern served as a General Practice Resident at Nassau County Medical center in New York. Choosing to remain in the "Big Apple," she received her advanced education in endodontics at New York University College of dentistry where, upon completion, she remained as a clinical instructor. Dr. Stern practiced endodontics in New York for the past two years.

In addition to her comprehensive clinical background, Dr. Stern has extensive research experience in pain management and anesthesia. She is a member of the Nassau County Dental Society, the American Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists.
